She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Matheson and Vida Matheson (Mooring); her husband Charlie Peers; and her siblings, Ritchie Matheson, Bruce Matheson and Janice Martin.
She is survived by: her close friend Doug Chase; her son Rod O'Brien (Julie); and her siblings, Edwin Matheson (Dyan), Sackville, June Wood (Danny), River Philip and Gail Matheson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
