He was predeceased by: his parent Gladys Garrett (Treen); his brothers, Paul and Ward Garrett; and his mother-in-law Thelma MacDonald (Brown). He is survived by: his close friend Catherene Garrett (MacDonald); his great grandchildren, Lexie, Hayley and Kip; his siblings, Ruth Garrett and Clarke Garrett; his siblings-in-law, Arlene Garrett, Deanna Hughes, Joyce McLean, Florence MacDonald, Don McLean and John R. MacDonald; his son Andy; and also, Chris Garrett (Lisa), Andy Garrett, Tracey Wilson (Greg), Jessica, Allie, Aaron, Max and Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital or the charity of your choice.
