He is survived by: his wife Beverley Simmons (Bent); his sister Patricia Robertson; his children, Jacqueline Buckley and Derek Simmons (Denyse); his grandchildren, Brandon (Mallorey), Teresa, Caitlin, Tommy, Ryan and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Molly, Mason and Heaven; and his in-laws, Angela Simmons, Betty Simmons, Wayne, Ley Cheverie, Hal and Ruth Bent. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
