He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Poole and Alice Poole (Irving); and his siblings, Irving (Sophie), Joyce (Donnie), Betty (David), Margaret'Nogg' (Harmon) and Kenda (Ian).

He is survived by: his wife Irene (LeBlanc); his children, Janice (Doug) and Chris (Susan); his siblings, Anna (Allan) and Bud (Ida); and his grandson Joshua. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.
