It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Alice Elliott (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Johnson; her husband Ira MacKenzie Elliott; her brothers, Angus, Jimmy and Vance; and her son-in-law Wayne Woodacre.
She is survived by: her children, Connie (Keith MacKenzie), Janet (Gordon MacLean), Woodburn, Millie Grant (Danny), Sundridge, Ruth Woodacre, Caribou River, Brian (Jayne), Catherine (Cameron Fraser), Toney River, Clifford (Ruthie), Charles (Marcy), Poplar Hill and Allan (Korinne); and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Fraser and Dan Elliott. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins and Shadow, her cat.
Donations in her memory may be made to Riverbank Cemetery or Toney River Community Hall.
