He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Mary Smith (Copan); his brothers, Douglas, Jackie and Alexander (Alex); his sister-in-law Ruthie Smith; and his close friends, Donnie and Kim.
He is survived by: his siblings, Henry (Melita), George (Cathy), Glen (Evelyn) and Sadie Glace Bay (David MacLean); and his sister-in-law Anna Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Union Grove Cemetery or a charity of one's choice.
