He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Wilkie and Margaret Wilkie (McDonald); and his brother Jackie Wilkie. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Wilkie (Purdy); his son Gordon Wilkie (Paula); his grandchildren, Robyn and Mark of Lower Sackville, NS; his son Steven Wilkie (Alicia); his grandchildren, Ryan, Carter and Dylan of Windsor, ON; his siblings, Ethel Gaylor (Ronnie) of Chateauguay, QC, Francis Wilkie (Joanne) of Stevensville, ON and Margaret Langford of Cobourg, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Wilkie of Glace Bay, NS and Raymond Purdy of New Waterford, NS.
