She was predeceased by: her parents, Libbie Willi (Lohnes) and Captain William Deal; her husband William Duff Sweeny; and her sisters, Harriet and Vivian.
She is survived by: her son Michael Sweeny (Marion); her grandson Colin Fernall (Ontario); and her friend Carole Whare.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, would be appreciated by the family.
