He was predeceased by: his father Bernard; his son Joey; his father-in-law Eldon Spencer; and his brother-in-law Eldon Spencer Jr.. He is survived by: his children, BJ Thorpe and Jackie Coleman (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Molly, Hailey and Austin; his mother Frances Thorpe; his mother-in-law Alice Parker; and his brothers, Randy (Kim), Andrew (Cindy) and Jim (Bernetta). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
