He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Brydon and Jennie Marshall (Dixon); his wife Beulah (Greer); and his siblings, Louis, Newton, Francis Brydon, Lola DeMont, Madeline Gibson and Norma Best.

He is survived by: his sons, Francis and Robert Brydon. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
