He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Kane and Richard Hiltz; and his grandparents, Roy Peterson, Florence and Perry Hiltz.

He is survived by: his sisters, Dawn Leslie, Tammy Szwed (Mike) and Angela Hiltz (Phillip); his stepfather Cecil Kane (Centerville); his grandmother Dorothy Peterson; his stepbrothers, Timmy Kane and Dana Kane; and his kitty Rosie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
