He was predeceased by: his father George Misner; his grandparents, Florence and Lester Misner; his wife Ding Misner (Cavelle); his granddaughter Blaise; and his siblings, Paul Misner, Leonard Penney and Linda Atwood.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Misner (Benjamin) of Berwick; his sons, Jordan of Alberta, Justin of Alberta and Jonah of Alberta; his stepchildren, Serilla Gardner (Richard), Sara Fraser (Mark) and Jason Hart (Kellie); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Azlyn, Gavin, Tyson, Gabriel and Oliver; his sisters, Kathy Dixon, Carie Simpson and Julia Simpson; his aunt Jean Reeves; and his close friend Brad Muise. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
