It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Dexter (Greenwood, Nova Scotia), born in Kent, South East, who passed away on March 11, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sly and Nora Sly (Marsden); her husband John; her daughter Sheila O'Connor; her grandson Teddy Hatt; and her siblings, Dorothy Dexter, Betty Earle and Ronald Sly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Ann Hatt (Keith) of South Waterville and Gwendolyn "Lyn" Boone of Greenwood. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
