She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Butler and Annie Butler; her husband Harry; her son Bobby; her sister June; her brothers-in-law, Jack and Bob; her niece Ruby; and her nephew Jack.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Bragg (Bob); her children, Jerry (Anne Marie), Valerie and Catherine (Greg); her grandchildren, Tara (Josh), Bobby (Rebecca), Mitchell (Naomi), Shemara (Adam), Jayme (Danny) and Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Bella, Cate, Claire, Phoenix, Linkynn and Hazen. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Due in part to the current COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with Ruby's wishes no funeral service will occur at this time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ruby's memory to the Palliative Care Inpatient Unit 7A, Victoria General Hospital, NSHA Central Zone, 1276 South Park Street, Halifax, NS B3H 2Y9.
