It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona Ellis of Bedford, Nova Scotia, born in Caledonia, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her sister Edna MacKay; and her great grandchild Kris Altomonte. She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Ray (Leon) of Penticton, B. C., Gloria Gilbert of Osborne Harbour, N. S., Nanci McLennan and Susan Calnen of Elmsdale, N. S.; and her sister Maxine Murray Stewart of Falmouth, N. S.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and two generations of great grandchildren.
