He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McLeod and Lydia McLeod (Penny); his close friend David Richard (Greek); his wife Dorothy (Nelson); his sons, Mike (Maggie) and Stewart (Darlene); his grandchildren, Eric, Michelle, D'Evan and Chelsea; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Pascale, Galberille, Sebastian and Elijah.

He has been cremated and a celebration of life may be held at a later date (post-pandemic).
