He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peters and Sadie Peters (Boutilier); his wife Anne (Whynot); his son David; and his brother-in-law Cecil Whynot.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Peters (Joe) and Gregory Mapplebeck (Theresa); and his sister-in-law Charlene Whynot. He is also survived by his grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
