She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Hiltz and Florence Hiltz (Dodge); her husband Roy Peterson; her children, Donald Peterson, Rosalie Kane and Delores May; her grandson David Hiltz; her great grandchild Samantha Diogo; her siblings, Oran Hiltz (Elsie), Harry Hiltz (Annie), Shirley Hiltz (Nina) and Phyllis; and her siblings-in-law, Roy "Buddy" Meisner, Carl Sanford, Annie Hiltz and Elsie Hiltz.

She is survived by: her sons, Roy Peterson (Valerie) of Aylesford and Ronald Peterson (Joyce Marlene) of Allison, ON; her sister Laura Meisner of Somerset; her son-in-law Cecil Kane of Centerville; and her sister-in-law Nina Hiltz. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
