He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Isabelle; and his brother Wally. He is survived by: his spouse Vera Young; his children, Beverly (Darl), Scott, Jerry (Gwynn), Daryl (Angela), David (Karen) and Susan Fry; his grandchildren, Timothy (Janine), Mathew (Kathryn), Steven, Sara, Amber, Issac, Genevieve, Devon and Jack; his great grandchildren, Pierce, Felix, Graham and Hunter; his siblings, Gary (Francis), Donald (Nancy) and Rosalyn Brody (Craig); and his sister-in-law Susan Fry.

As expressions of sympathy donations are gratefully accepted by the family in Bill's memory and will be given to a local charity in his honour.
