He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wheeler and Beatrice Wheeler; and his siblings, Garfield, Sandy Wheeler and Henrietta Head (Levi).

He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Lorraine McKoy (Paul), Tyrone Wheeler (Roslyn), Tammy Wheeler and Lea Hatfield (Dean); his grandchildren, Bethany (Adam), Darius (Lauren), Carrie and Libby; his great grandchild Eva Rose; his siblings, Wallace Wheeler (Ivy) and Lucy Woods (Cyril); and his sisters-in-law, Ruby and Eleanor Wheeler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.
