He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Bessie; his sisters, Meta, Gladys Winifred, Gladys May and Ruby; and also, Wilbur, Jack, Cyril, Otto and Fred.

He is survived by: his wife Edna; his sons, Lloyd (Dora) and Bruce (Sheila); his grandchildren, Michael, Pamela, Ian and Jamie; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Annalise, Spencer, Abby, Adam, Lydia and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Frank (Verbena) and Sadie (Roy). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Twillingate Salvation Army Men's Fellowship.
