She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wheeler and Mary Wheeler; her former husbands, Norman Ings and Abel Gidge; her stepchildren, Margaret Gidge and Harry Gidge; her great grandchild Brodeau; and her siblings, Frederick Wheeler (Eva), Alfreda Froude (Arthur), Maggie Jenkins (Garland) and Martin Wheeler (Gladys).

She is survived by: her children, Cassie George (Edmund), Claude Ings (Daphne Jenkins) and Eric Wheeler (Violet); her stepson Donald Burge (Viola); her grandchildren, Molly (Dave), Becky (John), Harley (Cara), Christopher, Marsha, Paige (Keon) and Brock (Sherrilynn); her stepgrandchildren, Jamie (Stacey) and Trina (Jody); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmine, Heidi, Nicholas, Marcus, Avery, Yzerman and Dillon; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Bethany, Brandon, Tyler, Valerie and Erika. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
