He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gale and Jesse Gale; and his siblings, Ned, Johnny, Paul, Bern, Mike, Gordon, Gerald, Andy and Loretta.

He is survived by: his wife Mary (Ella Brake); and his children, Rosena Dunphy (Mike), Cheryl Rose (Cyril), Valerie (Rick), Eric (Angie) and Stephanie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
