It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Bernard Marshall (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold and Mae; and his siblings, Calvin (Rowena), Ben, Russell (Marlene), Myrtle (Paul Barr) and Vida McMillan.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn; his siblings, Kurt (Marie), Ches (Shirley), Florence Marshall and Helene Drodge; his sons, David and Peter; his grandchildren, Violet, Madison, Jacob, Luke and Megan; and his brother-in-law Bruce LeGrow (Muriel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Conception Bay North United Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Salvation Army.
