He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hynes and Priscilla; his parents-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth Myles and John S. Myles; and his brother-in-law Morgan Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his children, John Hynes (Sandi) of Halifax and Alison Hynes (Brandon Cheeseman) of Rushoon; his grandchildren, Kira Hynes and Jacob Tobin; his siblings, Howard Hynes of Parker's Cove and Elizabeth Reid of Bay L'Argent; his brother-in-law Partick Myles (Christina) of Terrenceville; and his nephew Roy Reid (Mandy) of Bay L'Argent. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
