Ruby Eliza Freake Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2021, at the age of 97, Ruby Eliza Freake (Lewisporte, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Freake; her parents, Frederick Legge and Emma Legge; and her son Harvey. She is survived by: her daughter Hattie (David Wheeler); her son-in-law David; her grandchildren, Dereck and Heather (Todd Matsumoto); her great grandchildren, Rebecca (Jesse), Kali, Kate and Ava; and her brothers-in-law, Dexter Freake (Lorraine) and Larry Freake. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Lewisporte Good Will Center/food bank will be gratefully accepted.
