Rowena Mary Head Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena Mary Head (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sibling Kaywood (Susan); her brother-in-law Clayton (Shirley); her parents, John Menchenton and Maude Menchenton; and her parents-in-law, Roland and Flo Head.
She is survived by: her children, Dale (Barbara) and Byron (Gloria); her grandchildren, Dana (Tammy), Michelle (Byron), Melanie (Ray), Natasha and Matthew (Erin); her great grandchildren, Spencer, Madison, Faith, Leah, Lincoln, Alexander and Kathryn; her siblings, George (late Hilda), Pleman (Joan), Vera (Valmond), John (Debbie), Pansy (late Eli), Madeline (Wayne), Marge (Carl), Doreen (Don), Milton (Marina) and Alex (Lillian); and her brothers-in-law, Willard (Betty), Howard (Marie) and Gordon (Betty). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Visitation for invited guests will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 1-4 PM following COVID government regulations.
