It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Gladys Smith (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney; her children, Bronson Randell (Wanda), Garwin and Deanna; her parents, Herbert Burton and Margaret Burton of Port Anson; and her siblings, Malcolm Burton, Charl Burton of Springdale, Stanley Roberts of Roberts Arm, Ethel Ball of Botwood, Myrtle Pritchard of Perth and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her children, Verley Bishop, Bonetta (Jerry Manktelow), Alice Burton (Jim Reid), Marilyn (Donald Snow) and Lorne (Sherri Burton); and her grandchildren, Louise, Angie, Anita, Juanita, Janine, Steven, Pamela, Joshua, Crystal, Shauna and Douglas. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
