He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen and Annie; his granddaughters, Alisha and Keesha; and his siblings, Frank, John, Harold, David, Rexford and Nina (David Lewis).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Mehitable (Harvey Edwards), Frank (Betty), Leslie (Alma), Llewellyn (Eileen), Madeline (Alvin Tucker), George, Debbie (Arch Purchase), Alvin (Hilda), Kerry (Maxine), Harold (Ellen), Maurice (Emily) and Scott (Tess); and his sister-in-law Melvina. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Horwood would be gratefully accepted.
