He was predeceased by: his son Robert; his parents, Otto and Olive; and his brother Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Elvina; his children, Jim (Doreen), Peter and Major Marlyn Furey (Sean) of Susan Jones; and his siblings, Ivan (Gladys) and Marion Lake.
