He was predeceased by: his wife June; his parents, Douglas Blake and Mary Anne Blake; and his siblings, Harry, Dorothy Hodder, Elsie Hodder and Gertrude Eastman.
He is survived by: his children, Derick (Debbie), Jody, Colleen Blake (Wyatt) and Connie Blake (Chad); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Dylan and Logan; his siblings, Calvin (Barb), Lillian Harbin (Woodrow), Bernice Bradbury (Dave), Margaret Gillingham (Gordon), Janet Bursey (Sandy) and Betty Alcock (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Blake and Eugene Eastman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
