It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fronie Syrina Welsh (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), born in Gambo, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Wade and Samuel Wade; her brother Ivan; her husband Evangelist John H. Welsh; and her daughter Dianne.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Robinson (Clayton), Beverley Clarke (Stephen), Maxcena Penney (Brian), Ivan Welsh (Dorothy), Rosland Penney, Arlene Burton (Lester) and Byron Welsh (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Linda-Lee, Barry, Vance, Vaughn, Andre, Matthew, Joshua, Nicole, Nathan, Alyse, Jolinda, Rebecca, Jarvis, Jamal, Tim, Jordan, Peter, Andrew and Jenna; and her siblings, Jesse Wade (Majorie), Raymond Wade (Mary), Hannah Simms (Edward), Flossie Wade (Cass), Melva Lane and Edward Ward (Brenda).
There will be a public visitation from Gordon Woolfrey's Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Saturday, October 24 from 6:00-9:00 PM following COVID-19 government regulations.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Operation Smile Canada.
