He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert King and Marion King; and his brother David King. He is survived by: his siblings, Junior (Carol), Juanita, Bobby (Suzanne), Doris and Marilyn (Sidney); his close friend Cynthia; his stepchildren, Karla Ledrew (Kirby), Kelly and Keith; his grandchildren, Keegan, Liam, Ryan, Ashton, Brayden and Tyson; his nieces and nephews, Shawn, Christopher, Bryan, Tina, Terry, Tenisha, Amanda, Amy, Deanna, Danielle, Ryan, Kyle and Philip; and his close friend Lorraine Hurley.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one's choice will be gratefully accepted.
