It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lloyd Horwood (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Horwood and Lillian Horwood (Hull); his son Larry; and his brothers, Maxwell (Geraldine), Ronald (Audrey) and Wilson (Minnie).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Horwood (Hill); his daughters, Marilyn and Karen (Rick); his grandchildren, Stephen (Meegan) and Trudy (Paul); his stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Kaedan and Theodore; and his siblings, Eric (Irene), Marvyn (Barbara) and Joyce.
Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be a private family viewing at East Haven Funeral Home which will be followed by a private family graveside service on Monday, May 11th, 2 pm at Wesley United Cemetery, TCH, officiated by Joan Chaisson.
