With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Lillian Bursey (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hayward; her sons, Neil and Ian; her parents, Frederick Freake and Hazel Freake; and her granddaughter Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Randolph (Deborah), Darren (Betty), Darryl (Tammy), Wanda Bursey (Lorne), Cynthia Edwards (Dale) and Sherry Trimm (Ross); her grandchildren, Russell, Samantha, Kristen, Christina, Victoria, Bettina, Kendra, Drew, Hunter, Dylan, Kenya, Courtney and R. J.; her great grandchildren, Ian, Rebecca-Lyn, Lucas, Samuel, Sophia, Lilly, Madeline, Peyton, Liam, Caleb and Maverick; and her siblings, Winnie, Louise, Mary, Joy, Trudy, Danny, Tony, Dennis and Tracey.
Due to current Covid 19 restrictions, burial will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Wings Point Pentecostal Cemetery.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
