It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon John Sheppard (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorcas Sheppard and Simeon Sheppard of Indian Islands; his wife Marie Kinden of Stag Harbour; and his siblings, Leta (Collins), Alva (Foss), Otto and Watson.

He is survived by: his son Barry (Lynda); his grandchildren, Greg (Cynthia) and Becky (Sheldon); his great grandchildren, Meredith, Ian, Naomi, Zach and Tanner; and his sisters-in-law, Ada Sheppard, Alice Sharpe and Betty Kinden.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gideon Bible Society will be gratefully accepted.
