He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his daughter Viola; his parents, Eli and Mary; and his siblings, Ivy, Scott and Gilbert.

He is survived by: his children, Madeline (Roby), Joyce (Ralph), Alma (Norman), Jerry (Brigette), Melvina (Cecil), Sheila, Randy (Pauline), Lisa, Todd (Gina) and Corey (Darlene); and his siblings, Kay, Doreen and Danny (Rose). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public visitation or Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charle's name to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
