It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert King of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter King and Emma King; and his sons, Walter and Jody. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Julia Dawe (Leonard), Bill (Dale), Sheila Feltham (Ted), Maude Hoffe (Dennis), Rick, John, Betty Thorne (Fred), Peggy Hill (Sam) and Brian; and his sisters-in-law, Eliza King and Shirley Curlew. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Resting at Families Funeral Home, 9 Forward Drive Lewisporte, with visitation on Tuesday, June 22nd, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm for family and invited guest, following covid-19 restrictions.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Lewisporte.
