It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Blanche Hillier (Lewisporte, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oswald Hillier; her parents, Maxwell Boone and Effie Boone; her brother Frank Boone; and her parents-in-law, John and Ida Hillier.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Dumaresque (Carl), Linda Murphy (Frank), Byron (Paula) and Roger (Lillian); her grandchildren, Jason, Gregory, Sheldon, Sherri-Lynn, Christan, Christa, Kylie and Brittany; and her brothers, George Boone (Grace) and Harvey Boone (Lorna). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
There will be a public visitation from Gordon Woolfrey's Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Sunday, October 11th from 7:00-9:00 PM following COVID-19 government regulations.
Flowers will be accepted as expressions of sympathy, or donations to The Salvation Army, Campbellton.
