She was predeceased by: her husband Octave Simon; her parents, John Benoit and Annie Benoit; and her siblings, Hilda Felix, Lillian Campbell, Terry Benoit, Alfred Benoit and Alphonse Benoit.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Simon (Rose), Ernie Simon (Debbie), Sonny Simon (Linda), John–Paul Simon (Crystal), Vivian Mair, Darlene Hawco (Gary) and Ann-Marie Brinson (Norman); and her siblings, Columbus Benoit, Evelyn Smothers and Anne-Marie Jesso. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
