He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Sinyard and Edna Sinyard; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Gladys Fry; his brother Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Welsh, Wallace Fry, Lorraine and Aubrey Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Darrin (Christine), Paul (Lorena), Carol Oliver (Carl) and Jennifer Masters (Norman); his grandchildren, Robyn Johnson (Mitchell), Carrie Sinyard (Andrew), Ryan Oliver (Jenesta), Courtney Sinyard (Chris), Scott Oliver (Karly), Christopher Sinyard (Jellza) and James Sinyard; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Owen, Blake, Kennedy, Jenna and Isaac; his sister Shirley Clarke; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Fry (Debbie), Cavell Smith, Eva Freeman (Bob) and Linda Ford.
