He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his siblings, Walter and Frances; his grandson Christopher Skinner; his son-in-law William Whittle; and his parents, Charles Skinner and Phoebe Skinner.
He is survived by: his children, Phoebe (Lloyd), Mildred (Joseph), Christine (David) of Joseph's Cove, Della (Aloysius) and Ronald (Paulette); his siblings, Basil, Lloyd, Ida, Eliza, Josephine, Leona and Minnie; and his sister-in-law Una Skinner. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
