It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Strickland of Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Chesley; her parents, Jeremiah Savoury and Annie Savoury; her brothers, Isaac and John Benjamin; her daughter Bride; her sons-in-law, Charles Pierce, Hughie Druken and George W. Pierce; and her grandson Dwayne Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, George (Hilda), Janet, Frances, Tom (Patsy), Laura (Junior), Dean (Mary), Bernice (John) and Gladys (George). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
