He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick English and Catherine English; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Mildred Abbott; his siblings, Alan English, Johnny English, Billy English, Pat English, Mary, Catherine and Theresa; and his son-in-law Rob Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughters, Karen Mouland (Earl) of Elliston, NL, Beverly English of Moncton, NB, Andrea Sullivan (Patrick) of Manitouwadge, ON, Carla Dicesare (Fred) of Stephenville, NL and Lorna Fiander (Norman) of Codroy Valley, NL; his grandchildren, Mark Abbott, Kirk Abbott (Krista), Danielle Trask (Craig), Clarence Sullivan, Brandon Sullivan (Emmanuelle), Kassandra Sullivan, Evan Dicesare, Alex Fiander, Nathan Fiander and Amber Fiander; and his great grandchildren, Izabella Trask, Noah Trask and Ophelia Sullivan.
