He is survived by: his parent Louise Kempton; his former wife Marjorie Lynn Kempton; his wife Julia Kempton; his son Kevin Kempton (Trudy) of Dartmouth, NS; his sister Beverly Carey of Lower Sackville, NS; his stepchildren, Barbara Priddle (Garry) of St. Catharines, ON, Carol Hirtle (Gary) of Bridgewater, NS, Vicky Lomond of St. John, Paul Lomond (Sonia) of Port Colborne, ON and Shawn Lomond (Joanne) of Antigonish, NS; his grandchildren, Dawn, Shannon, Ashley, Marley, Jason, Derrick and June; his great grandchildren, Dominique, Jared, Keighan, Jullian, Katelyn, Brandon, Madison, Myla, Jade and Olivia; his nephew Chris Carey; his niece Kim Carey; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie McNeil, Maisie Osmond (George), Shirley White (Charlie Pynn), Viola Elms (Jordan), Doreen Dowding (Ernest), Joyce Young (Matt), Norma Murphy, Lewellyn Short (Lynn) and Joan Leriche (Bert).
