He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Skeard and Irene Skeard; his sister Irene Jessie; and his nephew Dion Cormier. He is survived by: his significant other Colleen; his siblings, Violet Cormier (Martin) of Port, Debbie Tapp (Gary) of Port, Susan Skeard (Dennis Pike) of Port, Raymond Skeard of Port, Margaret Derraugh (Chris) of Bedford, NS, Audrey Pucrell (Sonny), Robert Skeard (Kim) and Diane Skeard of Stephenville, NL; his siblings-in-law, Jane Meade (Ernest) of Port, Vera Francis (William) of Port, Evelyn Blackmore of Port, Eileen Hodder (Ray) of Port, Irene Osmond (Wilfred) of Port, Kate Parsons (Arthur Keeping) of Burnt Islands, NL and Jim Organ (Wanda) of Shelburne, NS; and his uncle Garland Skeard (Daisy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
