James Fredrick Ransome Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Fredrick Ransome (Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry and Melita Ransome; his former wives, Annie May and Ella; his son Raymond Ransome of Sidney Ransome; his siblings, William Ransome and Olive Caines (Kenneth) of Helen Jameson; his brothers-in-law, Gerald Chaulk and Ralph Croucher Jr.; his children, Marvin Ransome (Jody) of Isle, Montfor and Shelia Croucher (Barry Leamon) of Burnt Islands, NL; his grandchildren, Sidney Ransome, Montgomery Ransome, Marsha Ransome (Nathaum Hoben), Monica Croucher (Dwayne Munden), Laura Keeping (Brendon), Calvin Ransome, Monty Ransome, Darren Ransome, Holly Keeping (Ashley Munden) and Andy Ransome (Nadine); his great grandchildren, Zoe, Emma, Jesse, Cody, Jake, Samantha, Charisma, Syd, Logan, Ashlyn, Kirkland and Colin; his siblings, Raymond Ransome (Lynn), Shirley Young (Fred) and Phyllis Chaulk of Halifax, NS; his brother-in-law Jamie Jameson of Ottawa, Ont; his daughter-in-law Beulah Newhook (Roger); and his stepdaughter Doreen Billard (Blanford). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and many friends.
