He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Phillips and Julia Phillips; his wife Hilda; his sons, Leslie and Albert; and his siblings, Max, James, Harry, Emma and Martha.

He is survived by: his children, Otto Phillips (Brenda) and Louise Rose (Fred); his grandchildren, Scott, David, Sherrill, Amanda, Leslie, Brendalee, Victoria and April; and his great grandchildren, A. J., Jordi, Alex, Ava, Henry, Harrison, Savanna and Declan. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
