He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Elwood Delong and Margaret Wright Delong of Alberta. He is survived by: his children, Brady Fredericks of Fredericton, NB and Jennifer MacIvor of Edmonton, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Austin Fredericks, Marcus MacIvor-Cote and Hayden MacIvor-Cote; and his half-brothers, David McAffee (Linda) of Temple, NB and Paul McAffee (Ann) of Waterville, NB.. He is also survived by two nephews and one niece and many more friends.
