He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ritchie and Betty Ritchie (Cyr); and his siblings, Kenny, Ralph and Shirley Hawkes.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Ritche; his children, Patricia Silver (Andrew) and Paul Ritchie Jr.; his stepchildren, Jeremy Ritchie, Kim McLean (Randy) and Jason Cole (Trudy); and his siblings, Claude (Diane), Cilfford (Debbie), Rick, Barb Grant and Cecile Messervy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
